
Madonna and Child Medical Center has officially opened its expanded Hemodialysis Facility along J. Seriña Street, Cagayan de Oro City, enhancing its capacity to provide quality renal care to patients in Northern Mindanao.

Present during the inauguration were Dr. Leopoldo Vega, Chairman of the Board of CDODI; Mr. Rhais Gamboa, President of Mount Grace Hospitals Inc.; and Mr. Jose Santiago Dela Cruz, Chief Operating Officer of Mount Grace Hospitals Inc., who joined the pioneer doctors of Madonna and Child Medical Center — Dr. Miguel Kho, Dr. Pacita Kho, Dr. Lucille Romblon, and Dr. Reynaldo Chu. Also present were the hospital’s key officials, including Herman T. Esling, President of Madonna and Child Medical Center; Fernando Jay Dy III, Medical Director; and Dennis James Absin, Chief of Clinics.

The Hemodialysis Facility has expanded its operations from six machines to eighteen, now with a total capacity of twenty-five patients per session, significantly reducing wait times and improving access to care. The upgraded facility is equipped with state-of-the-art dialysis machines and provides a more comfortable and efficient treatment environment for patients and healthcare providers alike.

Hospital officials said the expansion aims to meet the growing demand for dialysis services in the city and nearby areas, reaffirming Madonna and Child Medical Center’s dedication to continuous improvement in healthcare services and its mission to serve the community with compassion and excellence.
